Recreational rage and social justice would prevent a movie such as Airplane from being produced today.

Eh - I’ll agree that Blazing Saddles would have a hard time being made today, but Airplane is tame compared to any number of gross-out comedies that have come out in just the last couple of years.

Congratulations facw on your COTD victory!

Dialogue between me and my four year old.

Congrats facw. Perhaps Elizabeth Lund can deliver you a Boeing 777, a plane she is Vice President and General Manager of in addition to directing its design, production, and distribution, among other things. You will be responsible for the taxes, though.

Recreational rage

There is nothing more they can do, there is probably not a bridge on earth with as many warning signs/devices/lights.  This is STUPID drivers plain and simple.

Honestly, I just don’t see John Hennessey as the type of guy who’d lie to his customers, make false promises, or scam them in any meaningful way.

But why pay union dues & give up stock options for nothing?

He doesn’t hire people who tell him no or tell him he’s wrong. He thinks he’s a genius and he’s always right. It’s not that he can’t hire people who could tell him how to do all this stuff, it’s that he thinks he doesn’t need them.

Seems pretty smart of the UAW to not put much value in Tesla stock options, as there’s an almost 0% chance that stock isn’t headed for a massive correction.

The fact that it is legal for a CEO of a publicly traded company to “tweet” important business information is ridiculous. That being said, we live in a world where our President can tweet information that presents security concerns and nothing happens, so I’m not surprised.

“If you vote for a union, we’ll bargain in bad faith”

I tend to agree with the substance of the criticism (to be clear: not the name-calling or other kindergarten tactics.) It is a fact: some people are generally sad whenever anyone dies: their family, their friends, people who benefitted from them in some way. That being said, I don’t see the point of offering more than

Joel McHale needs money, obviously. But McCarthy? Also, Brian Henson, we are all disappointed in you. This has all been done before, both better (Avenue Q) and the above-mentioned scabies, Meet The Feebles, which was abhorrent and stupid.
