I posted above also but with the backseats down my Fit is truly cavernous - I’ve transported an entire dorm’s worth of stuff in it; even my mom’s Outback couldn’t do that.
If you can find a Honda Fit for under $7000 or are willing to pay a couple grand extra, I think that’s just about the perfect drumset-mobile. Mine is truly cavernous with the rear seats down.
How does it compare to an Outback, since I assume that’s its closest competitor?
the Solstice was never a good car (sadly, because it looks amazing); combine that with auto gearbox and $50k asking price and it’s CP all day.

To be fair, in any car you’re rarely using anywhere near all of its HP at any time. Judging by RPMs and my own guess at my 117-HP Fit’s power curve, I’m rarely using more than 50-75 HP in regular driving.

It’s still the same platform as the G35, a big, heavy semi-luxury sedan, which was my point. The FM platform is not suited for a sports car such as the Z, and that’s why the 350Z wasn’t great when it came out and the 370Z isn’t much better (+ the platform is 15 years old now and Nissan are STILL using it for…
