On the Headphone adapters, I've been researching those as I have a pair Sens that I'm found of and want to use at my desk for the occasional call and quick pause/starting. Thing is, I'm using a Galaxy S3 (although in some ways I might as well have said "I'm not using an Apple product"). Almost all products I find that

I'm personally helping my girlfriend get out of this by way of doing the planning for her.

I live in Canada but shopped at a US Target Store (repeat, one located in the United States, not one located in Canada) during the affected time. Does anyone know if they are offering this to customers from other countries?

Even as someone who doesn't use a Mac (but has to help his girlfriend with hers, especially iPhoto)... I like the idea that people are still making good desktop+files based photo mangers like this. Google's "CLOUD FOR EVERYTHING, but please resize it" doesn't quite work for me with about 400gb of photos, but I'm

Laptop overall top. Smartphone second.

I do like this, but I also like Ivona TTS. Currently free, but Amazon bought the company and many people think that might change.

Would this typically be allowed on planes?

Not everyone gets married in Star Trek gear.

Rasplex (and I think that I wouldn't resent any others for saying the same) say that it needs to cache your artwork etc at least once before you get a nice snappy response.

Plex does do this out of the box provided you're happy to go to a client/server style setup. I can pause/stop something on my Android phone and continue watching on a web interface for example.

I wouldn't really say that I'm in one camp or the other. Anker have a lot of products that Sharkk does not. I've got a quite a few Anker products and think they are solid and useful (e.g. an external battery for my phone/usb charging product, and an extended battery for my S3). Like I say in my original post too,

This was one thing I knew about but decided to leave off for now (basically going with what I knew as opposed to posting something I had observed but not tested). Yes, Anker and Sharkk badge products. When I bought mine, the Sharkk one was $2 cheaper than Anker... it goes back and forth.

That's a golden opportunity lost :(

Frankly, I just love that this exists at all. I would nominate it for some sort of mention in the finalists article. The idea that we are making phone calls, neigh, speakerphone calls from the shower just makes me laugh and delighted at the same time.

Personally, I have about 500gb of valuable data, mostly photos, but includes pretty much anything. Firstly these are stored on a home server (Xubuntu on an old Dell laptop, c2d with 2gb of memory and a bunch of external hard drives pooled with AuFS). The target folders are backed up with Crashplan (both online, and to

Since Windows Home Server has now been killed, could we update this article?

Great but not paying for it.

I personally have the Anker Astro 3E - it's great and has an unexpected quality of being actually easier to charge from when you're out of the house/office etc. If you're at an airport you can get 10 min at a power point... but if you have/want to go somewhere... well you have to unplug. With an external battery pack,
