Let’s address what a lot of people are thinking... please make an Android version (believe or not, I say this because I think it’s a good idea)

I’ll completely agree with the “just deal with the weight and have plenty of power” logic. In addition to an external battery, I also have an extended battery on my phone.

Downloading local area data in Google Maps is a great tip that I use too. I’ll be honest, there are times I really like Google Maps better, especially with regards to searching.

My favourite find from this post was AutoMate. I’m trying that as a finally found replacement after Google killed off Driving Mode (from way back in the Nexus One days).

One more thing, CHECK AND OBEY the service life of your smoke alarms. Especially Carbon Monoxide detecting alarms. They have a 5-7 year lifespan (manufacturer will say when this starts and ends), so replace the whole unit at the end of it.

Also, remember that Carbon Monoxide has the same density as air, so a single

I had a similar problem with the Galaxy S3, so I just positioned the phone off centre and it worked a treat

I generally like it I have to say. I do like the new font and find it quite easy. You know what, no complaints here.

Voting because I have too and absolutely love them. I even use them as portable mice. But keep in mind that as much as I like them, I also like other mice (Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer for example)

2FA users - do we have to change our one-time passwords (backup passwords)? Should we trash them and get new ones from Lastpass? I’d rather not if they haven’t been exposed.

This tip will literally help me restore my cast iron pot tonight. Thanks!

When you say available, do you mean "well sure if you get a PCIe card for your desktop" or "can't avoid it unless you try (like USB3)"? I worded my comment as I knew that it could be done but wasn't routinely done yet, as most manufacturers are not rolling it out. Essentially today's move takes it from groundbreaking

I personally think that the deployment of a USB Type C connector on a major product is hugely significant news, seperate even from the product itself. Apple are the first major manufacturer to launch a widescale product using Type C to my knowledge, and if I'm mistaken, then that is because it's the first one with

Out of interest, why a GoPro for this particular use? Not really action sports this time round?

(You're seeking medical help, good, continue to do so. Also, have a look for the BBC Documentary "10 things you need to know about sleep" - there is a method in there which might work for you. Essentially you cannot enter the bedroom no matter what except for 4 hours a night (e.g. 2am to 6am). Even if your eyes slam

Alt-PrntScn for active application (as also is the shortcut for default windows printscreen handling)
Ctrl-PrntScn for the entire desktop.

Honestly, install it, because you remember you need it the next time you press prtscn.

I'd like to nominate Greenshot, the screenshot taker for Windows, with an extremely "to the point" editor. For IT folks, it's perfect for taking a screenshot, immediately saving it and loading it in an editor, throwing a red arrow and text saying "click here" on the screenshot then sending it by email. FOSS too :)
