New 3D Doom XL

Article says Kickstarter yanked it for being fraudulent not that the guy canceled the pledge.

Welcome to digital gaming. Enjoy your “products”.

From the sounds of things, Konami may be done with us. Or very close to it.

I know I do. The game unlocks are really kind of weak to be honest. I just wanted good figurines of Nintendo characters.

No doubt. People have been moaning for years that they wish Rare would make good games again. Well, here’s the talented part of that company and THEY’RE MAKING GAMES AGAIN!

Guess it makes sense to wrap it up (at least this saga) since he just signed a movie option deal.

Which is a shame because I’d buy the shit out of a remastered GoW trilogy for PC despite having it on 360.

I loved the original trilogy. If you do track them down, make sure you play them in order if you care about the story.

So Gamestop will basically stop carrying new games I assume? Because they already seem to have no room for the shit they have now. Not to mention their prices will be on par with that grandma on eBay who has Super Mario Bros. for $100 and marked as “RARE!!!!!!!!”.

They have to save something for the yearly versions of Battlefront that are sure to be coming along side Battlefield.

That’s the problem. A lot of these figures are being produced in such small quantities that most of us will never see them to buy them because Nintendo isn’t producing them continuously to meet initial demand. This isn’t like people are demanding the figures be available for years. In some cases, characters are gone

I’ve not seen Amazon crash and burn, per se, but when the new Xbox 360 slim came out it did choke the website pretty bad for a few hours. It took forever to get my order through the cart and pay for it.

I managed to get one online but I’ve seen a few in Gamestops since then. I usually contact friends who want them and let them know or buy them for them. It works out so much better when people don’t horde these things.

If Nintendo is going to keep this shit up, I’m just going to give up and take my money back to Disney Infinity figures that I have always been able to find when I need them.

What Nintendo seems unable to grasp is we’re not only fighting their supply chain but the bottomless vats of money and time these asshole scalpers seem to have to suck up what IS released to market making it almost impossible to get one.

If it’s not then I don’t know what it is. The first thing I thought of was the TMNT drill too.

Sadly, as long as these dicks can return the stuff they buy to scalp and don’t get stuck with it, they have no reason to stop.
