Having games of this quality being cranked out by smaller and smaller teams is only a good thing for the industry. Maybe the cost curve is finally bending back toward sanity.

Well, on PC I can back up the data so that if Steam ever goes away I've still got the games saved somewhere. I've not found an easy way to accomplish that on most consoles yet.
As a webcomic artist for the past 15+ years, I completely understand what these people are experiencing. It's.....frustrating to see people so casually dismiss something that you've put hundreds of thousands of hours into just because they don't think it's worth paying for.
I could totally see this being made with one of these engines that run games that have been looking just like episodes of anime.
No doubt. This show with it's limited budget did more to convince us that Mario & Luigi actually existed than the movie ever could.
