Maybe SNK will actually make a decent machine instead of this horrible emulator box they tried to pass off as a Neo-Geo.

George Carlin doesn't hurt people? What shows have you been watching? Maybe he paints with a broad brush but he most certainly makes fun of people in his routines. And he doesn't sugar coat the message at all either.

Burgertime was the shit on Intellivision.

This is the point. Before you start breaking the rules, you have to learn them. It really does make a difference in your artwork because you still understand the basic structure even if you make it super deformed in some fashion.

Well, yes and no. Miyamoto has had a really big influence on the design of Nintendo's consoles for a long time. Most of the features of their consoles have been built around game ideas he has wanted to make happen.

Obviously, it would've been "curtains" for them.

I don't think anyone here believes it is. That's just probably the reason these two assholes did this to this guy.

Holy shit is that a real Bugs Bunny episode? That's awesome.

Honestly, with the billions of dollars they've made, I find it hard to believe that someone thought slashing $5-10 for that domain registration was a good move. They could've pulled down the website and just kept the domain registered. Someone fucked up at T2.

I was willing to buy the 20 times, I was just impressed you managed to hold them in a pattern that long. :) Part of the reason I started my comic strip was to get out some of my customer aggression from years of working at the store. Any fellow clerks feel free to check it out, we just restarted after a few year

Really? 20 times? Kind of surprised that the customer just didn't tell you to go to hell and walk out. Not that problem customers don't deserve to have their cages rattled.

As someone who actually WAS a clerk in a video store in the 90's, it wasn't all it was cracked up to be. It did have it's moments...

I have a feeling that studios are going to start shrinking over the entire industry. They're going to have to learn to make games with less people simply because they can't continue to throw truckloads of cash at herds of developers. Something has got to give.

You know, you're right. And now that I think about it, I didn't actually own a Gameboy before I had one of those and it made me eventually go out and buy a portable to use with all the games I had started to collect.

*sigh* That's the joke.

Maybe it's just his disappointment in the company/console? If you really get excited for something that seems like it'll change everything for the better, and it turns out to be a steaming pile of lies, it can make even the most optimistic person a little bitter.

No doubt. When I saw Dante in DMC during that bit it grossed me out but I just moved on. I didn't start a letter writing campaign or go to every website and bitch about how offended I was hoping someone would acknowledge me and tell me how special I am.
