I understand and respect your experiences and opinion, but it has been my observation that genuine hipsters are just as judgmental as those who may or may not dress like one.

Ok, so while I agree with much of what the author said, I have some problems. As someone who has interacted with the "stereotypical hipster", I can say with all honesty that they are some of the most hateful, judgmental, and hypocritical people on earth. At least the 5 or 6 I have talked to.

Cygwin should be added. It turns Windows, which is normally a pretty great OS, and adds some great features from Linux/Unix/POSIX etc.

As much as Windows != PC, I still have people (even some of my co-workers at the IT helpdesk here at school) refer to windows as PC. Like the one guy who uses a mac and says "I ran Office on my PC side"
