No true Scotsmen!
No true Scotsmen!
Holy fuck. I literally got cross-eyed and bored halfway through your run-on paragraph, that I actually stopped reading it.
Exactly!
This reminds me of when I was a kid and I’d be in my dad’s office. He was a defense attorney, at the time, and would dictate his statements on a tape recorder and his whatever (not sure if secretary or paralegal or receptionist was the term) would listen to the tapes and type them on a fancy typewriter*.
Wait. Your two points seem to be contradictory. Is it “step aside” or “work together?”
I took a “but I’m broke” job and two weeks later got a call from the job I actually wanted. And then promptly quit the other job without notice, because I apparently work in an “at-will” employment state and can be fired from jobs, immediately. lol
Yeah, I can understand that. But, I had a friend in high school who got pregnant from that method. Since then, I’ve always been reluctant to just rely on that method.
I am a guy and I am an ear, nose, and eyebrow plucker. Ok, not the nose—there are actually wonderful gadgets for that. I don’t remember when I started needing to pluck my ear hair, but damn.
I would point him to the English footballers who recently recorded themselves having sex with (was it?) Filipino prostitutes while yelling racial slurs at them.
Can I say that I’m a bit torn by Good for You? I question why she wants to look good “for you.” Does she feel like she has to? Does she want to because it’s fun? Is it the only way she can get “you” back?
1. Well, a lot of it is the horribly bad acting.
I think Artoo is more of a likeable character, but probably because he has more of a personality on his own. A lot of Threepio’s exposure is either being judgmental of Artoo or being stuffy. Or being in pieces.
This is also what could be said of Firefly/Serenity. They’re more space-westerns.
I, in my 29 male years, had not seen Blade Runner until a few weeks ago. Because one of my favorite theaters in town was doing a midnight showing.
I think he’s under the impression that, since he was either in a relationship with them or because he has sex with them for work, that he can’t possibly rape them? It’s something people really think. “How can I rape somebody I’m in a relationship with? Don’t rapists usually accost women in darkened alleys?”
Ok, I’m going to humor you, here. I’m going to assume that you’re not trolling and will answer you as if you have a brain.
Same. And the first preview, where it was just him running around with heavy breathing through the entire thing? It was an immediate pass, for me.
How can you type on a popcorn keyboard, without your fingers sliding everywhere?
Well. Unfortunately for this character, it really doesn’t seem like there’s that much of an “after.” And I think it’s an important story to tell. I can understand why there would be a (assumed to be) cis actor. It sucks that there were not many trans people involved in this film (or at least paid to be involved).
I can understand it, though.
