I’m with grapeslick. Its a very subtle difference but you can pick up on the difference between someone who is just completely bitterly hating on someone and someone who is doing it for fun. I think Mazin is the latter for sure.

Well buried in the paper is a paragraph that seems to indicate that there is a similar effect for mothers of daughters versus mothers of sons, i.e. working moms are more likely to take parental leave if it’s a daughter versus a son:

I’m looking at the study right now, and am a little lost as to how they come to that 50% number. Not because I just don’t understand - I’m pretty well trained in this sort of econometric analysis - but because I think they’re making an (almost certainly innocent) mistake.

These effects are much larger for fathers of sons than for fathers of daughters, and almost entirely driven by fathers of first-born children and fathers in occupations with a high share of female workers.

And with the boy babies you are way more likely to get your face pissed on. This is just poor decision making.
