I actually do. Its a dumb phone requiring no power in case of some emergency like an earthquake when the networks would be overloaded and power out. The cost of the service is included everything else so its essentially free. I don’t ever use it though, and even the ringer is turned off.

You’re 100% right, but the “rubbin is racing” hicks won’t stand for that. Any intentional contact under yellow in any racing series should be an immediate ban. I agree with you, but there are assholes out there that do run rich like this (obviously not this rich, but still..) on purpose and in their daily driver. Not arguing your point, just pointing out there are people are stupid enough to think shit like this isn’t hurting the environment.

You forgot to mention that Toyota showed how a hybrid could work in the real world.  If American car companies had tried to match it, we could have hybrid SUVs today that had power and good gas mileage. 

It is very, VERY misleading to act like the auto industry “did nothing” about emissions. The difference in vehicle emissions from 1979 to 1989 is astonishing, and the amount of money and time that was spent on R&D was incredible. Only someone ignorant would claim they “did nothing”.
