This is a pretty dumb premise for an article. Like jayrig5 said, the Cubs were 5-3 in those games. Could they have gone 6-2? Who knows? Is it worth giving up a whole year of control over Bryant in the future just to host a one-game free for all rather than be on the road for it? Hell no.
