When a Bojangles’ first opened in my hometown (Roxboro, NC), around 1994, I remember hearing about a big shake-up there in the second month they were open. Apparently one of the guys working there was jacking off onto the grill and into the deep fryer, and watching his seed sizzle.

On a related note, Walmart has agreed to stop selling military-style firearms, like the AR-15 (which has been used in several mass shootings), though they say it’s because of a drop in customer demand. You can still buy rifles and shotguns there, though, as well as ammo for your AR-15.

Not so much a backstabber. Remember: Spider-Ham is not an anthropomorphic pig who gained powers after being bitten by an irradiated spider, he was a spider that gained powers after being bitten by an irradiated anthropomorphic pig.

Ironically, this happened around the same time the school she teaches at (Wendell Elementary School) was chosen as a Magnet School of Excellence for 2015. Kinda put a damper on their celebration.

That irks me, definitely, but I also find the frequently-seen counter — that a cartoon that contains mature themes can’t be for kids — almost as annoying, because it ignores the fact that kids can (and do) pick up on and appreciate those messages.

“I don’t even remember who picked it”

"I can only say this: Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most... human."

Some years ago there was a thread on RPG.et discussing existing DC & Marvel characters as seen through a Mythos lens. Some were quite nifty. http://forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?398547-necro-Mythos-Supers-Oh-what-may-be-wrought-with-this-hideous-might
