Right, but I’ve never heard it described as a card game nor have I ever seen it played without the board.

Yeah this doesn’t sound intentional enough to be a marketable hidden feature to encourage multiple screenings. Though in fairness the editor from the film isnt spinning it as anything, just that theyre out there.
Is it? It has some hilarious moments (the singing telegram, “flames across my face”, Tim Curry doing Tim Curry things), but overall the movie feels like a bit of a slog to me.
From checking wikipedia;
1408 doesn’t really have multiple endings depending on how you draw the line. The theatrical release only aired 1 ending.
I enjoy FF7R’s gameplay. I do not enjoy FF16's. Honestly if they’d made the combat in 16 more like FF7R I might have had a lot more fun playing but as it currently stands I’m not really vibing with it. Well, that and the tone of the story in FF16 isn’t really something that appeals to me.
My only real complaint with…
I really don’t like how uninvolved the party members are
oh really. the game with a decade of patches and polish is better than the game that just released?? gtfo here.
You can save yourself one of those steps if you like: when you salvage an item with a gem in it, you get the gem back without having to pay the unsocket fee. So if you’re done done with the item, just salvage it directly.
Maybe. But D4 is a much better game at launch than D3 was. It also has much less controversy and has had a fairly smooth launch. Everything about D3 was a mess at launch. I fully expect D4 to be the better game in the long run. Though, IMO, D2 is still king.
The problem is if they do that just for a streamer, that’s preferential treatment. If they open it up for everyone, their team is going to be inundated with bazillions of HC death footage to sift through. Probably better to work on the issues and keep moving forward instead of looking back.
I’m not playing on hardcore anytime soon. While the game has been relatively smooth, it has frozen up on me a few times. I’m usually right back where I was, but I believe that given the hardcore rules, that might be seen as a disconnect and a death, so I’m all set.
I’m curious what market segment they’re targeting with this price point other than the usual Apple diehards.
It very much has a “definitely Google Glass but too awkward for you to mistakenly think you can wear them in public without looking like a tool” vibe.
Its overpriced, has no controllers, an external battery that lasts less than the length of the average movie , and the only app it has is an AR model of Steve Jobs that will make it look like he’s hovering in your living room*. Of course Apple fan boys are already putting deposits down on it.
Except the main competitor is not Varjo XR3. it’s Meta Quest Pro. and Meta Quest pro is only $1500. while the feature set is different it is not $2000 different.
This nails every single feature anyone would want... from the decade plus ago when it was first rumored, and it does it a decade plus after pretty much any relatively hard core VR-interested person has gotten the chance to be exposed to commercial VR in a way that highlights the vast expanse between what people…
Wow, what a joke. Forget this thing. That price, Christ.
Great for this kid, but given that Lord & Miller previously directed The Lego Movie, I immediately just assumed that they did it as kind of an homage to that.
$3500.
