They’re useful for certain master level content due to the combination of unstoppable mod support and the shield being able to reflect lightbearer attacks. Their use case is highly specific, though.
I’ve been having a blast using my glaive so far, and I love going all YOLO and start beating down a boss with it. Yeah, I know it’s a dumb idea, but I just love the idea of wailing on a boss with it - especially when they try to stomp me away.
Memes are the brain rot of our culture
Just wait until it is included in a meme rundown video of the past five years by the Internet Historian.
The explanation behind an internet meme being “It thought it was dumb and funny, and then other people started doing it too” gives me no information beyond my immediate thoughts about any meme. I don’t think this needed its own article, but that’s just my opinion.
Again, yes, they’re successful games you already know about. My featuring them here wouldn’t have provided any service to you. In fact, I named a bunch of other examples of the type, explaining why I wasn’t focusing on already well-known games.
“You’re the villain because you let me do this. I’m doing this because I need to be stopped,” is some straight up super-villain shit. Fuck this guy.
He might be saying he ‘wants to get caught’ so that the ‘exploit gets fixed’, but fucking up people’s games is not how to do that. Just because you say you have noble purpose doesn’t mean you aren’t being an asshole.
Well, you can get used to having collections elsewhere too.
Independent artists tend to be more principled than humongous corporations.
Having picked it up in a previous Itch megabundle, I really enjoyed Lenna’s Inception, a semi-randomized, glitch-tinted love letter to the Zelda games of the early 90's. It’s far from the most polished game in the bundle, but I liked it enough that I went and bought it again on Steam just to make sure the developers…
On a completely unrelated news, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is $39.99 until end of 3/13, it contains 48 tracks and additional 48 more tracks via a $24.99 DLC.
I hear Humble Bundle might be coming up with something, so if that happens, those games tend to be for Steam. So there’s that, at least.
The worst part is from what I played of the free lite version, I’d say the $50 price tag feels too steep even without micro transactions. The game plays really stiff, the tracks are uninspired and repetitive (there’s like 7 tracks with variations of each), and everything just feels cheap. The fact that this is…
Absolutely baffled how they had the balls to charge $50 in a game and THEN fill it up with that f2p bullshit.
the moment I saw a review that mentioned that this was utilizing a cash shop, battle passes, AND had a fucking $50 price tag just to get in the door, I lost all interest in the game. I hope whatever suit at SE thought this was a good idea chokes on it.
It needs NFTs. Where are the NFTs?! Square Enix promised us NFTs!
If you can deal with the Switch layout, trust me that the Steam Deck is at least more ergonomical than that. Also the trackpads are pretty fantastic and useful, even though it might not be immediately obvious for gamers used to traditional controllers.
The switch is objectively an ergonomic nightmare. Nobody does vertical stick/button placements for a very good reason, and that’s because it’s terrible.
