Yeah, I could never stomach Xenoblade. Terrible story, annoying characters, and a million mindless fetch quests that made it feel like a shitty mmo you play all by yourself.

Well, not much I can do about your poor taste
You can just skip right to 3. The stories are standalone.
My main issue with the early sonic games was the level design, so maybe that’s why our opinions differ. They felt completely slapped together with little concern for flow or a player’s need to be able to recognize any particular platform.
They’re alright. They were very well-done games for the gba, but mechanically not particularly interesting and the story was just a collection of RPG tropes. Mother 3 was vastly superior
Possible hot take: the ds and gba games were infinitely better than any of the games in this bundle
Damn, was hoping not to see what she looks like until actually making it to the fight. Thanks for spoiling nearly every major boss for me Kotaku!
Anyone else notice an issue with skeletons after the latest patch? As a caster, I can’t run up and wack them with my staff to dispatch them permanently any more. They just show damage numbers and regenerate anyways
To be fair, this article covers not one, but two patches.
Valve needs to do something drastic with their IPs. Spin off an entirely separate company, hand over the rights to portal and half-life and let teams that actually want to make games handle things. I know that’s probably not feasible for a million different reasons, but it’s absolutely ridiculous how neglected these…
I definitely dislike the core gameplay of Musou games. I dislike the recycling of stages, I dislike how little weight attacks have, and I dislike button mashing through hordes of mindless enemies. Combat feels cheap, half-baked, and outdated. It feels like an experience that was built around the limitations of…
This exactly. I hate celebrity gossip and that includes gaming/streaming “celebrities”. I wish I lived in a world where I could enjoy gaming while never learning another streamer’s name.
It’s the only Musou I’ve ever beaten. Which is saying a lot, because I’ve give them far too many chances only to be disappointed by the actual gameplay. I still didn’t love many of the Musou elements (hoards of trivial enemies for button mashing through, backtracking and reuse of maps), but the presentation, story,…
Yup, it really wasn't that long ago that conspiracy theorists were relegated to being the butt of jokes. These people would have been laughed out of the room back in the 90s.
Christ, I can’t believe they stretched a single homophobic joke into ten minutes of video.
“They come out almost indistinguishable from a fresh-from-the-drive-through cheeseburger.”
A word of warning to future people seeing deals for software from StackSocial: don’t do it. Their support is basically non-existent. I ordered for the wrong OS and they claim to have a 30 day refund policy if you don’t view the code. I sent a message to support, they didn’t respond.

Its actually pretty cool how much thought and design went into the feet of these characters
It’s the way their digital licenses have always worked. All content has an expiration date field. It may not have always been populated. I don’t remember. I think the ps vita interface used to show it for everything and, at one point, you could drill down through your account info on the sony site and see them.
Sounds like a bug. Definitely good to make sure Sony is aware of it, but probably don't need to get too fired up about it unless they fail to fix it.
