Yeah... You're stuck in that loop. It's like you can't make that connection between a similar, but different comparison and the discussion we're having because all you can think about is how it relates to you. It's either a personality disorder or you're very young.

“I don’t give a shit about PvP. That is a stupid example.”

It is a single player game with brief encounters with other players. It is not a co-op game. It is not a multiplayer game.

It's like you're completely incapable of understanding how a game could be anything other than what you want it to be. It's not a co-op game to play with your buddies. If you want that, play something else. All these things you're crying about are there specifically to limit how multiplayer works. You might as well be

Other than the connectivity issues, it’s only cumbersome when you try to use it in a way that wasn’t intended by the developers. It’s meant to connect you with a random person for a brief period. Not with your friend for an entire gaming session. It's not that kind of game

See, now you get it! You’re whining because the developers themselves disagree with you about how the co-op should work. The co-op design was not a mistake. It was an intentional choice with clear reasons. You want to play it like a traditional co-op game, but that’s not what it is. This is a single player game

Wah! I’m trying to play a game differently from the way the developer intended and it’s hard because the game isn’t built to work that way!  Deal with it.

Lady Bird was pretty damn good too. Especially relatable as someone who attended catholic schools growing up.

Then play a different game. I love it. It’s cryptic, fits the game’s tone and atmosphere, and helps me get through some of the most difficult content before thrusting me back into the game’s lonely world once again. Only issue I have with it is that it doesn’t fucking connect 75% of the time.

I wouldn’t recommend a guide unless you get so frustrated you feel like quitting. Go in blind, make mistakes, learn from them. There aren’t many you can’t recover from (as long as you aren’t trying to collect every item/weapon or something silly like that, which then yeah, use a guide since it wouldn’t be possible

You’re already pretending it’s more than that by saying it’s super gross. We’re either imagining this character as an actual person, or we’re not. You can’t have it both ways.

I mean, that isn't making it for her. Your character doesn't have to find her attractive. She saw what she wanted, learned what she needed to achieve to get it, and then made that change. Give the woman back her agency.

Lol, the latter seems more likely. Probably a joke from one of the actual people who did the writing about the dude who most likely contributed nothing but his name.

I played it for quite a while, but mid-game progression is pretty broken and unpleasant. You need to constantly use new forms in order to progress your character, but the later dungeons throw tons of enemies at you, so you can’t take unleveled forms into them without getting demolished.

There’s no right answer. It’s all totally dependent on who you’re on a date with. If you’re lucky, you’ll have enough chemistry that you won’t even be thinking about things like “which question should I ask?” But you won’t be lucky, because dating is a total crapshoot.

Not a huge rick and morty fan, but this shit was legit tasty the last time they brought it back. Will definitely pick some up again this time.

Far Cry needs to be completely revamped if they want to continue the series. They’ve been repeatedly making the exact same game since 3. They’ve at least tried to keep assassin’s Creed fresh by completely revamping combat and adding (some shitty, some great) new mechanics and gameplay elements. Far Cry started feeling

Elden Ring showed how it could be done with meticulous craftsmanship and a desire to make every square foot of their massive world memorable and interesting. Ubisoft doesn't have it in them. They're content with tons of land with nothing but copy-pasted content and a few landmarks to break up the monotony.

The way it flows and reacts to the player passing through it is beautiful, but it's nowhere near as detailed or varied. Every blade is identical.

Yup, this annoyed the crap out of me too until I realized I could just use the steam overlay in big picture to kill the game at the splash screen.
