Yeah, not even convinced this was a ploy to manipulate people into buying the game so much as it was a throwaway joke the interface made possible. They could have easily had this idea long before they even put the game up there.

Looking at all the shit I spent time grinding out a couple seasons ago that has now been flagged as “legacy” was soul-crushing this time around. I never even had a chance to use most of it. At least the first time around, it felt like a lot of the sunset gear in my vault really was old and forgotten. This time, not so

N64 controller joysticks would just go completely limp after a while.

What’s a ps5?

Nice. Now revive Type O Negative.

Deatg stranding does not have to be a 60 hour game. I beat it in just over 30. It was my game of the year, but I can't imagine playing it for 60 hours. Most of the additional things to do were too repetitive. That game was all about the story.

There are tens of thousands of “best persons for the job,” if not more. I work as a dev at a fortune 500 company and when I started, I went months without talking to another white dev. I’d say the vast majority of the devs I work with are more talented and knowledgeable than I am. I can maybe believe that there is a

It's back.

Plenty of shitlords, but there's no way this was related to that. Nothing has changed about the kind of people using the server or what they were saying.

Who wants to bet some money changed hands here?

The sub just went private. Long-time members are posting in other threads that they can’t access it at all. Possibly taken down completely. Apparently the discord server has also been taken down.

I am, yeah.

Pretty sure he spends most of those 500 years living in a cave. Can't wait for the first cave fishing game! Seriously, his activity after Bilbo finds the ring, encounters with gandalf and such would probably be way more interesting than what the books lead us to believe he was doing up to that point.

Right... But that story IS in the books.

Before what happens in the books? So before he finds the ring and murders Deagol for it? Eh, on second thought, a game that just has you living the everyday life of an ancient hobbit sounds like a good time.

Seconded. Especially now with sunsetting and the removal of tons of content, the game is in the worst place it’s ever been.

The best loot mechanic from last year was being able to keep my loot instead of taking it away from me after a year and making every other loot mechanic nearly worthless.

I got to the fight with the old lady in the room where you have to hide from her and you can go out onto the porch. I got annoyed because I couldnt figure out where I needed to hide and why I was being detected half the time. How much further do I need to go before it gets more resident evil-y?

God I wish everyone would do this for ps5s too. It's by no means perfect, but I have sunk way too much time into watching for it to be in stock, and then fruitlessly trying to beat the bots to actually purchasing it. Would this actually get me one? Possibly not, but at least it wouldn't waste so much of my time and

I’m by no means saying it's a bad game. I think it succeeded at being the kind of horror game it intended to be. But I don't, in general, like horror games. I like resident evil games.
