Seconded. Especially now with sunsetting and the removal of tons of content, the game is in the worst place it’s ever been.

The best loot mechanic from last year was being able to keep my loot instead of taking it away from me after a year and making every other loot mechanic nearly worthless.

I got to the fight with the old lady in the room where you have to hide from her and you can go out onto the porch. I got annoyed because I couldnt figure out where I needed to hide and why I was being detected half the time. How much further do I need to go before it gets more resident evil-y?

God I wish everyone would do this for ps5s too. It's by no means perfect, but I have sunk way too much time into watching for it to be in stock, and then fruitlessly trying to beat the bots to actually purchasing it. I’m by no means saying it's a bad game. I think it succeeded at being the kind of horror game it intended to be. But I don't, in general, like horror games. I like resident evil games.

They always trick me with articles like this. “This time it’ll be different! It’s like a whole new game!” And then I play it, and it’s still just as terrible as the last time I was tricked into buying a musou.
