Exactly - it's not a misery contest, so why are you ranting about the perceived tone of the coverage?

The Datsun 720.

Honda Element. A great SUV designed for unemployed American college graduates. Great for pretty much anything you want to do with it. I have one, and it is AWESOME. They never should have discontinued it. It could use a bigger engine, though. Hear is a 2009 LX in black, yours for $11,900.

My kid loves him some Caillou, and I have to say, I’ve never understood the hate. I actually LIKE that he’s not always happy—so many kids’ shows are just loud and colorful and peppy, and Caillou lets kids know that it’s ok to be scared, to be sad, to wish things were different. Validating those feelings matters, I

Honest question. Why do you dislike the show so much? (I have a kid at home and always trying to know more about what's ok to watch and what's not)

I thought it looked great!

Not a parent here, but I will shamefully admit something that may land me in a minivan if I can’t find a kick ass wagon instead when the time arrives. Minivans are more practical then SUVs. Why do people hate them now? Because it was the standard bearer of the hated incarnation of “family car” in the 80's and too

You seem like a great parent, but as a minivan owner, and a single one at that, i can attest to the fact that the MASSIVE CAVERN in the back of a van is incomparable to any other vehicle. Ive had a mercedes and GTI before this, and i LOVE LOVE LOVE the room in my van.

YOU don’t need a big car. Maybe he does. Better yet, maybe he WANTS ONE.

Though I understand the concerns, a number of idiotic fans already risk their lives by stepping out on the tracks and amateurs already put their rally footage on the internet. I’m not convinced that drones would increase any of these risks.

not really a race rig, but a shit ton of fun for < 1/10th the cost of that side by side racer above.

if you really want to enter racing like that, you are better off buying year old used gear at $0.10 on the dollar from some guy who followed the plan in the article into bankruptcy...

Jesus H. I lived this. Class of ‘86, upstate NY and went to every metal show I could get to. Camped out overnight at the box office numerous times in all sorts of weather. Ditched school to see the bands at record store meet-and-greets..(Quiet Riot, Crue, Etc). My first metal show was in fact Judas Priest with Iron

Now playing

guy is full it. just like anyone who says “it’s sharing man, it’s not stealing”...yeah right...Lars was right

It’s not exactly the same, because the “reach” you had wasn’t that high. You could share those tapes/CDs with your friends/family, not someone you do not know on the other side of the planet.

Your case does not speak for all the cases in all the states. It would be great if we remembered that. Not everyone is trying to get over on the system. Some are just trying to survive the system.

Have you done this? Cause I’m telling you right now it is not that easy to get a modification of child support in many cases. In theory yes it should be easy. In a lot of cases it’s just not. We’re meeting our obligations without having been granted a modification even when it might have been needed. But the fear is

I wouldn’t bother. It’s started already. Not pretty.

I fear that the author’s acknowledged mistakes will make most people unsympathetic to his tale. For some reason, we expect that anyone who dares to speak out against an unfair system be beyond reproach.

Off to a meeting but I’ll be back for the comments soon!
