Back in the day we called the flatland tricks. Not as exciting a term I guess.

Looks like he’s got a nice technique for entering the water. People do survive large drops into the water, usually on accident. That, and he’s awfully lucky so far not hitting rocks.
Maybe it’s because I grew up with smokers, but at no point in my life did I ever view smoking as cool and was perplexed at people who thought it was.
So, you’re questioning the real life applications of a weapon in a fantasy world, populated by zombies that don’t exist, based on a comic book?
In a number of states Family Video has filled the void that Blockbuster and Hollywood Video left. They are quite popular and we used them often, up until we recently moved.
Here’s the uncomfortable reality. In many parts of Africa, trophy hunting by people that can afford it is a main driver of their economy. It’s also one of the ways they get funds to manage their wildlife populations. It’s easy to sit back in a western country and decry what goes on, much different to live there and…
Yes. I never watched it originally and made multiple attempts to watch the season on Netflix, and I just though it was mediocre at best. I never finished watching them.
I think the idea of minimalism lured people into thinking their problems would disappear if they just moved into 200 sq. feet and sold everything they own. It’s a nice idea, and owning less stuff isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but full time living in a tiny home is a huge change.
This shouldn’t be news to ITT Tech or any other for profits at this point. The fact that they didn’t, or could not change their business model it light of what they new was increased scrutiny of their business practices just shows that either they had no intention of stopping their reliance on unending federal student…
I’m not sure, they might in some circumstances. ITT tech is “accredited” too, but it seems like many of the accreditations for for profit schools are self serving and dubious. I looked into that when I was going to attend the Art Institute and wasn’t convinced that they would.
The reason I even entertained the idea was because I had a family member that attended a location and get whatever fashion design degree they offered.
I think any person, if personally motivated, can rise above and make it work. You can also get the same skills for free on the internet, if you’re motivated. Graphic Design is one of those fields where your portfolio is more important than your degree.
My parrot pictures were stunning.
Places like The Art Institute can’t be far behind on this kind of crack down. About 10 years ago they almost convinced me they were legit, but the fact that credits earned at these institutions are virtually worthless in the real academic world, so I said no thanks.
One of the problems with CC, at least the ones I attended, is that their programs usually only reflect the needs of local industry. So, if you live in a manufacturing heavy area, the CC programs reflect that. The computer based programs also were quite dated.
If I could have detailed cars like that, and been able to spend that much time on one, I never would have stopped.
Some people think the wilderness is a cozy campground with showers and electricity. The thought that there are areas that are unreachable except with sat phones is just a reflection of society.
Prior to the popularity of DJI’s quadcopters, most of them were home built using parts from different companies and different manufacturers.
Besides cost, audiophiles at the time preferred vinyl over cassette, so nobody was going to invest in something that was always inferior in sound quality. I was chastised by my father for buying cassettes in the 80's, him being a huge audiophile, me being a broke teen with walkman headphones permanently attached to my…
The film had some good laughs, and I thought McKinnon was great, however it would have been better if they had cut out the silly CGI battles in the 3rd act of the movie.
