Wait...in most of Luthor’s origin stories, Lex lost all of his hair (often because of something he and/or Superboy did). All of it...hair, eyebrows, beard, mustache...all of it except for the cilia in his airway (he’d be on life support otherwise). Why’s he got an evil beard here?

The cartoon was heavily “censored” for TV; the comics Morbius tried to cure a rare blood disease with extracts from a bat, and wound up being a living vampire, complete with fangs (the cartoon had crazy “mouths” on the palms of his hands to drain his victims, because of Fox’s requirements, IIRC).
