Exactly my point. None of the most common browsers are “newer” than anything else; the best of them have been in development for years, or are based on another browser/core that predates them for years.

Comparatively? Yeah, since Netscape (which shares most of its code with Firefox 0.9, the first version I used) debuted in 1994.
