An October 2017 date should get you Android N, and Android O, and the security updates for 3 years after that.. That’s not too shabby.
Unlike my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 addition that is still running 4.4.
Oh, iOS 10 still supports an iPhone 5 from 2012....it just doesn’t support it very well ;)
This angers me. this perpetuates our throw away society and even though you’re buying a premium device for hundreds of dollars they are throwing out new phones left and right and you’re not on a contract so you’re paying full price and you get to use it for like, 2 years because of shit like this.
