So many of these award winners just felt so paperbasket. Overwatch winning GOTY is the most bewildering. It’s a great game, but not even top 10 for this stellar year. It’s barely more than TF3 with astounding polish.

I wouldn’t say funny but I would say amusing and imaginative. Definitely makes me want to watch the show.

I’m honestly baffled by anyone excited about this yet. Don’t get me wrong I love MOST of the MGS series and Kojima’s work overall, but we still haven’t seen A GAME. It’s just pretty cut scenes and that’s it.

I love Kiss Him, Not Me but it has some PROBLEMATIC depictions of fat people that really mirror Japan’s overall feelings. They basically treat her like the plague and, for some reason, her voice has to fatten up. More than anything it’s just super dumb and weird.

Ok I had no idea you got new challengers when you beat the elite four again. That’s super dope. Yeah S/M easily had my favorite elite four + champion fight. A great game period.

Well... that seems really pointless. I mean it must be fulfilling for some reason to the person that did it, but that’s about it. Hell I’d attempt this if there was an achievement/trophy tied to this, but Nintendo still yells at the kids who are walking on their lawn so of course that isn’t in their ecosystem yet.

Maaaan there are two things I’d kill for: 1) being able to preview haircuts or changing hair color before purchasing them, 2) the return of that AWESOME map feature that let you know if you’ve seen all the pokemon in a route and if you’ve caught them. That was handy as hell! Otherwise pretty fun so far.

I really liked World of Final Fantasy’s demo. Gave a great, condensed, linear look at the game while exposing you to all the main gameplay elements while rewarding players with a little something extra for beating the demo and playing the full game.

Honestly they probably want to focus on D4 and, since there were already Necro assets in D3 (the npcs for some of the side quests), it probably wasn’t too much work on paper…

Parasite Eve had: mostly survival horror elements (item management, minimal health balancing), body horror, twisting nether creatures, and I’d argue the ultimate being creation is incredibly in line with survival horror tropes. It may have a few wisps of fantasy like leveling and cosmic powers, but not nearly…

Great so we’re getting only one actual game for PS4 this month and everything else isn’t even worth touching. Wow I own all 3 PS consoles and this is the first time in a long time there’s nothing worth bothering with.
