He never should have been hated in the first place. It says more about the fans than it does him.

The blurb up top makes it clear what happened. “The AV Club” is a collection of individuals. Some of them thought the film was pretty good, but enough of them really hated it that it made the list. And now the comment section is going to be dominated by 20-something white guys crying about it.

Damn it, I don’t care what anyone says — I’ve been head over heels in love with Episode IX since the first teaser and the title reveal (and, I guess, the announcement that it would be Abrams rather than the snide, soulless automaton who made those horrible Jurassic Park sequels).

Controversial opinion:

I never said that other companies didn’t make stupid decisions. I said there was a supreme difference between James Gun and John Lasseter.

James Gunn was re-hired and actually did nothing wrong; John Lasseter was a goddamn abuser and was fired because of it.

This show has literally only just aired its own series premiere. This feels like the kind of critique and thinkpiece that should come at the end of first season, at the soonest.
