That’s simply not true. 13 is way beneath the age of consent across the EU - it would definitely be a crime.

She was recently diagnosed with MS.

Yes, because that’s a fair representation of what I said. Well done.

While my heart goes out to Heche, I really feel for the person who has lost their home as a result of this. All the focus is on the celebrity, as usual, but this has evidently been catastrophic for the homeowner.

Swamp Thing. But that's about it.

It may be different Johanna Constantines - in the trailer, modern Johanna doesn’t believe Mad Hettie when she tells her about Dream (a scene lifted straight from the original comic).

In the books, Johanna is an ancestor. In this, though, it looks like they're using her in lieu of John (as HBO is apparently prepping a Hellblazer series), which is fine by me. If it's true to the plot of the source material she should only show up in one episode this season anyway.

It’s got to be a genuine concern that Will Smith has now normalised assaulting stand-up comedians. If an A-lister can do it on the Oscar stage and get a standing ovation half an hour later, goodness knows nobody at a comedy club is now safe. And yeah, Chris Rock’s joke was unfunny and ableist, but still.

I think the implication was that everyone who was sent back to 1911 was turned to rubble, like Peggy's Great Uncle and Aunt.

Ditto the Third Doctor’s utter heartbreak when Jo Grant leaves to marry Clifford Jones.

I think Cohen is my favourite so far. He just seems natural and sincere.

There’s a lot of talk of Kang in this thread, but this show HAS been about variants and alternative versions; if we’re going to meet Kang in the next Ant-Man film, who’s to say we’re not about to meet Immortus here?

The idea of emulating Lost or Fringe is a non-starter these days, particularly for network shows. It was always plain that Manifest would be killed early and end on a cliffhanger, and I’m certain that led to people choosing not to watch it.

But they weren’t dead, and the island wasn’t purgatory. The flash sideways in S6 was set in the characters’ shared afterlives (and was a misstep, for sure), but the main island storyline had nothing to do with that.

It feels a little unfair that Alex Goldman had to be the guy to issue this apology. It seems that PJ Vogt’s behaviour was poor, so surely he should be the one speaking here.

That ‘one bad apple’ thing kind of misses the point of the saying anyway. It’s ‘one bad apple spoils the whole bunch,’ after all.

You know, I honestly don’t think we watched the same show. I’ve really enjoyed this season, as have my wife and son. I’m an old-school fan, they are not: so it appealed across the board. I’ve always enjoyed Zack Handlen’s writing in the past, but I feel he went into this show determined to hate it.

To be fair, the Lane bedrest storyline happened in season 7, and therefore wasn’t the Palladinos’ fault.

Pretty sure Jackson Douglas is married to Alex Borstein, not Rose Abdoo.
