bioshock demo sold me on buying bioshock, and boy am i glad it did. I literally finished the demo, turned off the xbox and drove to bestbuy to buy the game. Most demo's serve to turn me off from a game though. Like MAG and too human.

@Malloc: i think it's just true on this site. Lot of anime/manga style fanboys and girls here. You know it's bad when they start spouting off the names of obscure japanese game devs.

This whole game reeks of 'design by committee/focus group'. Everything i've seen has been stale, or worse, a cliche of Final Fantasy games.

best live shows.... hmmm it's a toss up between 3. Rage Against the Machine at Rock the Bells in NYC. Manu Chao/Thievery Corp. at Merriweather Post Pavilion. Annnnnd Alice Smith at 930 club in DC. Alice Smith in particular is incredible live, her voice just sounds amazing.

If you're in the DC area try Ray's Hellburger. In montreal i liked this place called cafe vasco de gama. They had a foie gras burger that was pretty good.
