My favorite was ‘Ghost in the Graveyard’, a person was the Ghost (it) and would hide until someone would pass by the spot and they were tagged and had to hide with the Ghost. Best was when we played it after sunset on summer nights and our yards would be creepy.

The blast radius of the F-Bomb according to the FCC in the ‘50s

I hope you’re in plumbing so you can be a pump pimp.

I like how much making this cookie sounds like defusing a bomb.

Coda: If you do not eat the entire thing within 5 minutes or so, it will turn to concrete.

As an instructor using that approach, it’s more fun for teachers as well. Guiding students through practical exercises is why more enjoyable than talking at them for 50 minutes.

In elementary school homework was useless, though homework was extremely necessary for me to learn certain things in middle school and high school. I’m particularly remembering math teachers that were miserable at explaining anything. I spent hours and hours every week teaching myself from the book as I was doing

I'm picturing the Venn diagram of people with gardens, people with a $400 Vitamix, and people that can't compost. The intersection is a guy named Bob.
