The thing is fucking portable. Bleeding edge graphics are not supposed to be its thing.
But this is a tablet running a AAA game from just this last year.
As previously commenter said; It’s likely he didn’t know it was being sold for money at the time of the tweet. Probably would have remained fine if it was for free.
During the Wii U years, things didn’t always look so good. This time last year, Nintendo was losing more money than…

Over the weekend, a shipment of Nintendo Switch consoles hit Japanese retail. That mean some stores saw long lines…
I came here to say that I really hate the whole “Games as a service” thing, because it’s a blatant lie on the part of the companies. No matter what, they will always treat their products as products, and more than that as exploitable products, because they can’t do anything else. MMOs, which have the best case for…
Yesterday’s single-day Greninja Saga Super Smash Bros. For Wii U tournament ran late, leaving one pro in a…
A colorful game like Splatoon 2 deserves colorful hardware. That’s why Nintendo is rolling out special Splatoon…
Oh for god’s sake. No. This is not censorship. This is editing. It was never Nintendo’s intention to have one their characters say the equivalent of “fuck you” so by changing it, Nintendo is brining it more inline with what they originally intended. Nintendo felt they made a mistake. By changing it, Nintendo is…
Doesn’t censorship usually refer to some entity with authority forcing another entity to remove, edit, or destroy objectionable content? I mean, self censorship is a thing, but I’d say it’s more just making a minor change after being informed of the potential for offense.
I would like to take the time to remind you that Nintendo is not censorship in any way, shape or form. This is because Nintendo owns the game and can change whatever they like about it. Now, this doesn’t stop you from criticizing their actions when those changes are stupid but it isn’t censorship when they do it.
I came to say the same thing! The general design of the background and the small bit of perspective makes it EXTREMELY hard to tell what was meant to be interacted with and what wasn’t. Holy crap. I could never play that, it’d annoy the shit out of me.
Holy moly that’s a cluttered mess. They made the background look just like the foreground (with green platforms), with all sorts of stuff that look like you should be able to walk on it. Watching the trailer, I can barely tell where it’s supposed to be safe to walk or not!
Battle mode makes its triumphant return.
Now if the writers put more effort into the script like the artists did with these amazing works.
I don't know if I would go that far, but thanks a lot. I appreciate the reply, and /hearted.
You (understandably) become a bit too agitated, and your phrasing borders on hyperbolic a time or two, but this comment has convinced me entirely that you are the best commenter left on Kotaku. You're doing a great job, Shinta, and I thought I'd just let you know I always appreciate your contributions.
Sorry, Luke, I don't give a shit if this guy is a "die-hard RPG fanatic." XIII was not terrible, it wasn't even bad, it was one of my favorite games ever made. I'm so sick of this bullshit. Let's see what he has to say. I can promise you that it's not even close to the intelligence shown in the Star Wars reviews. …
