I thought you guys might enjoy these new models that just came out. I hope to get my hands on these, in the future. Well, these will surely be sold out, but maybe future releases...
Thanks for showing. They do look really good!
I usually don’t venture out and buy something that doesn’t fit a theme in my collection but after seeing a few bososuku/shakotan cars at the HW Legends Tour a few weeks back, I realized I totally need something like that in my collection.
Gimme a few minutes, I just took a picture of something from Aoshima!
Ah yes. Now I know what they are. Can't wait for more pics then!
I see you found the Forest Green version of the Era. Like it much?
Wheelerguy’s right, Ferrari and Mercedes are relatively good with licensing their stuff out period, not just to toy makers. Toyota on the other hand has almost completely F’d off. Apparently one of the reasons is because if people buy their cars in games (and I guess in toy form going by this logic), they won’t go out…
No, I mean Ferrari opened its licensing to most everyone in software spaces eventually, and may be starting to open itself again to model-makers. Toyota...just suddenly withdrew from damn near everything.
I mean at least Ferrari’s everywhere in games and approved sub-licensing to Tomica, which, as far as I can tell, is well-received.

In my case that is as I received this as a Christmas gift which does not include the famous AE86 and for me you cannot have the shop without the famous car so I ordered the official Initial D Trueno from Amazon at a good price. On my 239th post is the …
the plane in this series does sound oddly interesting to me and could be a good prop for photoshoots.
Saw as much from the eBay listings, but the X2014 and STR12 seem small enough for the scale and 1:55 is my pocket limit anyway so I reckon they check out (this, knowing that actual 1:60-1:64 F1 cars really are smaller). US$10-20 though. Pretty big commitment if I do.
Tomica resisted giving their models “Hot Wheels” wheels.
I decided to go with a more street legal Dauer style paint job.
I occasionally watch VINWIKI videos, and this one seems appropriate for here...
That’s because their cabinets are red, and red is for racing.
I say it was worth it (:
True, it kinda has that Tokyo Torque Series 1 feel. But everything else about Kyosho quality on the body of a diecast is always so flawless... besides the paint chip on the AE86 I got today.
