Fuck off, people didn’t “decide” anything, you bootlicking piece of shit. People who were desperate to make rent went for the best option they could. Kids struggling to pay for college did what they felt they had to. And here you are, siding with the billionaire shitheads who did this, knew exactly what would happen,

Had he retired and then promptly been hit by a truck I’d wholeheartedly be endorsing him for the Hall. His on-field accomplishments make him worthy of it.

Buying a car in Arizona, sure. Living there? Hell no!

Worst part of my last road trip was Arizona.
-A lot of police traffic enforcement
-People are incapable of navigating simple traffic complications (lane closure for construction)
-And hot! It was brutal, even at 8AM.

Toyota's actually been doing this for quite a while now.

No offense, but if you were having that much trouble with your vehicle around the Eisenhower tunnel, your vehicle was either very poorly maintained or you were driving it incorrectly. I have driven my 50 year old economy car with poorly cooled drum brakes over that pass dozens of times and have never had an issue with

Okay, so I don’t know what’s going on with the poll. I’ve checked it across three different machines and three different browsers and it’s working for me in all cases.

FINALLY. Someone is saying what needs to be said about CVTs. I’ve currently got a 2008 Outlander with 218,000+ miles and I can almost guarantee that the CVT will blow and total this thing. Other than that, this car has been 100% reliable. It has literally been through hell and back. Would I ever buy a used CVT? Hell

I did think it looked a little too well put together, but it blew my mind in the moment. Cool to know dealers were selling these back in the day.

In my opinion it’s not *clearly* sitting on the Super Duty chassis.  It’s clearly sitting on Ford axles, but swapping axles is a LOT easier than swapping frames to something that it wasn’t designed to fit underneath.

“It can’t be beat! “All the way back to 2008!”

Maybe he put the Jag on Turo

As you stated the new car is a “nicer” car. My question is though, WHY? Why does every car have to get nicer? Why cant companies just continue to offer a car for what it is? Why do they keep trying to have a car grow with the audience it is currently hot with? All that does is necessitate a NEW base model to come in

Newer is not necessarily better.

To be fair, every one of these, including "motor" are safer and more reliable than anything David owns.

More like how are you still awake after looking at this?

Is it too early to do a “Meh Car Monday”?

So, basically a Camry, but slower, less reliable and worse gas mileage?

2004 Matrix XRS 6-speed original-owner, here. 226k miles later, the 2ZZ still zings to 8,200 RPM. Great car, 100% would buy again.

LOL you would drop that much money into an Accord? Wow. I would buy the Accord, leave it as is...and enjoy trouble free driving for another decade until it rots away from rust.

The Accord is the exact opposite of “2000s car nobody thinks about.” Boring.
