I think I would rather see the 88 to 92(?) GT Turbine style (not sure the exact name) but they were on just about every GT from the late 80's - early 90's if I was going to put a retro factory wheel on a modern Mustang. The Oval era (mid 90s) Stangs lost me as a fan, they went soft looks wise, and there were so many

The limo versions of these were badass, with ET mags and the blacked out windows and black paint jobs, probably right up your alley..

The whole front end, including the headlights, look like a widened Renault Fuego to me. Since alot of Delorean parts were Renault sourced and it was built by the designer of the Delorean, my money is on Renault.

I remember seeing many of these driving the roads of central Michigan around Lansing in the late 80s and early 90s as well as many of the RV dealerships stocking these which make sense since they were built a hour and a half down I-96. Most were a dark silver color that made them look really modern if not futuristic

I'll give you that those 3 spokes look good on THAT GT, but these dont have rounded edges like the SN95 ones do. These look more like a six spoke, but I get your point. Now, I still would argue the ones you show would still look like ass on a S550.

Yeah, agree. That is the worst wheel of any generation Mustang. Three Spokes dont evoke the whole muscle car theme at all.

all the ones I see are parked with years of dust on them and look to be unintentional lowriders that are napping..

maybe in the crazy market we are living in now, but nice examples can be found for under his budget. Might need minor work, but they are out there, and dont forget, the Cutlass was the best selling car for part of the 70's. And the G body had 4 different divisions making them from the 60s to 90 (in rear wheel drive) .

thats why anyone in Chicago with any sense buys themselves a winter beater.. You put the daily to bed for the winter..

no no no.. wrong generation, wrong drive wheels.. you missed the part where hes looking for street cred from gearheads, not methheads...ya want the one Jrs daddy cut his teeth on..

They are cool as hell, but the kind of kinfolk Infiniti was going for was the Yakuza..

While the M45 is cool as hell, I dont think a Yakuza Staff Car is what he has in mind. Why put a pic of the logical choice, the Monte SS Aerocoupe, and then no one recommended it? That, a project Hurst Olds, or modded Cutlass or Monte make more sense than any of these. Torch is a troll, a Tornado has nothing at all in

The more overused term Tracy uses is “Holy Grail” and this whole Jeep obsession is really getting tired. Change the name to Holy Grailopnik Time to go back to Autoblog.

Stupid comment, everything has gone up in value since Covid.. Not everybody cares about 28 year old Jeeps. There are other cars to write about besides every piece of Chrysler crap from the 90s that you consider “rare.” Your act is played out, time to move on to something interesting. Bring Andrew back, at least he

This wont be a popular opinion but hear me out. When asking who has the worst roads, my answer comes as someone who has worked on these said roads so Im not talking out of my ass. I grew up and learned to drive in Michigan. Moved when I was 27 to Colorado, where I worked for CDOT. At age 40, moved to Arizona where I

Hidden headlights make so much more sense now because of plastic headlights that degrade in the sun and become a hazrds because of lack of maintainence. Hiding them would protect them from the sun damage and degradation. But no, we’ll just continue to get the cookie cutter, boring old look we have had for the last 25

Probably shouldnt open your mouth about things you know nothing about.. In the EMS field for 35 years and never once have I heard the word quota uttered once.. You ever see someones skin sloughing off from a 3rd degree burn? You think maybe, just maybe, those medics had that patients best interests at heart when they

probably before Y2K..

its so holy grail that this is the second article Dick Tracy has written on holy grail manual Aerostars, the first being a cargo van. Hardly Grail. Why do people like this are allowed to write about cars is beyond me..

they were in the Explorers/Bronco II and Rangers so I dont see why they wouldnt have been in Aerostars.
