I think the biggest issue here is how do you drive the exoskeleton out of the boat ramp once you have the boat out in the water? No steering, no propulsion system, and probably no traction. Doable now with electric, but at the size this was, I would think it could of be doable then if scaled up a bit. Hydrostatic

Don’t really see a joke there dude, but if you say so.. by the way, mine was..

Light bars add some drag as well, and the pic of the test cars shows them all as flat tops.. Add spotlights, push bumpers, etc, and realistically these things are probably down to 135-140, tops...

Swing and a miss.... that's NOT a Lambo, dude..try a Bugatti..

Except now they are made of aluminum and the repair cost is through the roof and more expensive to insure..

Honda had their own transmission boondoggle in the 2000's.. Craigslist is full of Accords and Odysseys from that era with fried transmissions for 1k or less.. Honda HAD a great reputation in the 80's and 90's but lost it stating in 99. But alot of people stayed with them, or chose to ignore the issues. The Hondas of to

First of all, it would help this whole situation if they (or you) knew what the hell they were driving...lol.. a Town Car is a Lincoln, not a Mercury...

So let me get this straight.... the 2 hurricanes only affected Ford, but not FCA or Chevy or any other manufacturer? Did not know that there were Ford seeking hurricanes out there. Also, the reason Ford has lost so many fleet sales for the F150 is that fleet managers fear the repair costs and downtime for the aluminum

Not to be that guy, but 54 years..off by ten..

The junkyards are filling up fast with Nissans equipped with CVTs.. Amazing how many clean looking Cubes end up in them because it’s 4k to replace them. And that basically totals them because they are only worth 2k after you replace the tranny.. Putting a CVT in a Maxima, THE 4 door sports car, is sacriledge. Not even

What killed anything sporty other than the GT-R (at 120k plus) from Nissan was the switch to CVTs and not offering manuals in the Maxima (or even a true automatic). The Maxima kinda died for me in 95. Stopped being “the”4DSC back then. The 2003 version gave some hope but missed something. Then they killed the Xterra

Lol... I see what you did there..

They canceled your fanboi show because it sucked. Tell the truth.

Shouldn’t have said anything, Orlove would have showed up in AC, then did a post on how it was bust and no one showed up. Now we get another post about him hitching a ride with some “crew” and their Fast and the Furious exploits ducking the cops and looking for places to street drift..

Orlove is the voice of fools.. everything Jalopnik supposedly denounces, he praises..happens at least once a day.. Then Ballaban will defend him and ban commenters who call him out on it. See the street drifting article from the other day for a classic example.

Anyone else get the feeling Orlove is really a 16 year old that sits in his parents basement playing Forza and watching drift videos all day?

I think a better yet question is why does Orlove write a article a day about 20 year old fads that most Jalops want to just go away praising them like they are still relevant??? Street drifting, stance, enough already with the 16 year old fanboi/fuckboi shit. This shit is all played out.. Haven’t seen a stanced car in

Features editor=drift only editor in the Jalopnik universe.. and he doesn’t even own a drift car....

Yeah, I think Orlove went into it expecting all kinds of criminal activity ( read fun, to him), and the only reason he said it sucked is because the most excitement he got was trying to duck the cops. He wasn't there to expose these guys, he was there for his own self gradification, and they let him down. Hence, they

So ”Fancy” Kristen calls a idiot a fuck boy in a headline but someone calls Orlove a dumbass in the comments and gets the banhammer.. nice double standard there guys.. Is this the nice, friendly community you said you were trying to nuture here Jalopnik? Personally, I don't care what you print, just don't come off all
