he’s the antisemitic one for those who may not remember.

thank u @ladygaga and VP @JoeBiden for bringing attention to sexual assault at the oscars. it hit very close to my heart for obvious reasons

Personally, I’ve never found Leo hot.

Agreed. There were a lot of minorities that were nominated and WON last night, but Chris Rock completely neglected them (aside from his racist Asian joke).

Don’t bother looking for approval, that’s your first mistake; especially when dealing with some of the more extreme groups in person, or on the Internet. Often, these groups take things so far beyond the original problem of racial and gender equality that everything ends up being problematic. It is like the conspiracy

That just really doesn’t sound like participation...

I keep wondering how exactly it ended up being framed that way when I feel like there are a lot of people who have tried to be inclusive about it.

That appears to be black code for “blacks only”...POC isn’t really a thing in the BLM community, from what I’ve seen.

Yep, and some people on twitter got mad that Asian Americans were mad and then called them anti-black. It was a whole mess lol. Not a good week for PoC solidarity, with the Peter Liang shitshow and now this.

Haven’t you heard? Anti-Asian racism is the racism that’s still ok! It never goes out of style!!!

thank you for explaining exactly how I feel. I used to want to participate in the conversation and over the last few years have grown quieter and quieter about the subject not because I don’t care, am not paying attention, or don’t want to help - but because every option is apparently wrong.

I feel like i spend about half the time being told I need to participate in the conversation, and about half the time being told “shut up and listen//you’re whitesplaining every time you talk//check your privilege//you can’t talk about this because you’ve never experienced//etc//etc//etc”

What exactly do celebrities have to apologise for?

No reaction would considered acceptable. It was pretty much a lose, lose, lose night for the audience.

I’m just glad white and black people could finally come together over mocking Asian people.

I see what you tried to do there.

Calling the guy who just demanded the families of his enemies to be murdered a “relative moderate” should really tell you everything you need to know about american politics.

And also, the government is not a business and should not be run as such. Consider the implications of the “savings” generated by using a different water source for Flint, Michigan...

I agree although I would never vote for Trump over any democrat

This was arguably one of his best episodes he’s done, and it’s a shame to say that because spending this much time on an asshole like Drumpf is akin to putting your hand in a meat slicer.
