Rolled my 63 spitfire. Upgraded to a 64 Malibu. Solid lifter 327/4speed.

I rented a compact at the Portland or Alamo last year. They pointed to a fiat prominently placed out front and asked me if I wanted an upgrade. I didn’t bite But when I was walked out to the lot I was told I was given a free upgrade to a malibu. Obviously the fiat was the bait.

I bought a new Manta in 74. It was one of the best cars I have owned. It went almost 100k miles on the factory clutch, alternator, engine and with the body intact. (Not like the vega) The vega was the same price.

Actually it was listed in the Sunday paper for $3600 with no mention of the graphics. What a shock for the person that goes to see it.
