I swear, my husband and I were discussing the movie “Heathers” in depth not 2 hours ago. Weird.

yeah and she had lived in that apartment since the 80s and had mentioned it was rent control. and then bought it with Charlotte’s ring money. soooooooooooo
The 1980s cabinets are the WORST! We did the appliance thing too (fridge and oven, knock on wood the dishwasher hangs in there). I watch a lot of home rehab shows to console myself about the whole process :)
Teenage suicide, don’t do it!
Shit yeah, hot probs!
I can commiserate 100%. I only see my parents a few times a year, but after about 24 hours I am done. I can only take so much complaining about welfare moochers and passive aggressive comments about wanting grandchildren. I spent 4 days in a row with them a few years ago and wanted to stab my eyes out.
You poor thing! Make them stay at a hotel next time. Throwing out YOUR dishes in YOUR house is so wrong as is complaining about your bathroom. Say something like “Since my home doesn’t seem to meet your needs I think we would both be happier if you stayed in a hotel”.
I’d be willing to literally bet on it that there are nests of spiders between that tub and the wall
I may be watching too much of it. Told my middle daughter she had to wait because I was “scrubbing in”. Big Foot rolled her eyes and said “Mom, you are just washing your hands.”
So some stuff from this week:
I paid my car off this week! We had a three-year loan so the monthly payments were high; looking forward to the extra money every month. Plus my husband recently started college again so we are getting GI Bill BAH which helps TREMENDOUSLY -- we are now able to resume the home repairs which have been overwhelming this…
I picture her straddling Karlie and taking the pic.
Douglas Adams, the writer of the British sci-fi comedy “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy” wrote “Time is an illusion, lunchtime doubly so.”
And on the Seventh Day, He looked at a menu and chose an item because he liked the ingredients. He ordered it, and it was good.
