Funny, I don’t remember TNG staff popping up in the media promising this major event at the end of a season and then yanking the rug out from under the audience. Weak justification aside, this sort of reads like someone who either doesn’t understand, or just doesn’t care, about their audience.

I liked the cliffhanger, and I’m not ashamed to say it.
