But more seriously, for all Viking Car Project graduates. There will be a reunion for all staff and student alumni who worked on the Viking Car Project in mid-March 2018. Preliminary and future details are here: https://vikingcarproject.wixsite.com/mysite-1

I remember chasing two Viking car friends chasing a Viking car in a Renault R5 when they missed the turn and went turtle and saw their life and two hundred yards of pavement pass before them (actually below them, through the sunroof hole of the now inverted R5, dangling from their seat belts). Those were the days -

Right on! It was surprising when we went to competitions that the ‘engineering’ schools produced cars that wouldn’t run (but lots of data to back up the design) and the smaller school’s cars would win because they actually worked. It was a fabulous education and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Pointing out the degree is not an ME but a BoS would be one thing. Calling it “an auto tech school with more custom work and ad hoc design” is being a snarky ass and you deserved to be called out for it.

Awww.... is sombody jealous?
