Now that I’m thinking about it, this makes a ton of sense. Being an entrepreneur is basically saying you’re OK failing a few times to figure it all out. That wouldn’t really go over well in their culture.

If you have really deep pockets or are looking for a second car, sure. If you want one car to do it all at a reasonably fair price, the list of cars gets much shorter.
I temper what I like with what’s practical for me and what I can afford.
