Buffing. She’s buffing.

Transit Connect RS

ahahahahahahahaha

Mazda 767B > Any concept car they can produce. It’s a fair point, but also that Furai burned to the ground, this 767B has enough left to be brought back to life. (I assume, based on the photos)

It’s okay. I’m okay with this. I’d rather a few cars get damaged every once in a while if it means we get to see them driven properly every once in a while.

Was any of the jalopnik staff involved?

Seriously though, if any company will spend the time, energy, and money to bring this back to life it’s Mazda...

Wait what? The California came with a manual? Seriously?

It was a short but sweet era of Japan’s overengineering, cost-no-object bubble.

I think that’s the point. These aren’t made anymore and there is no equivalent.

Gated manual + Bizzarrini V12 = OG Lamborghini

EYOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, nice!

It’s also marked the end of the era where Chrysler didn’t give a single shit about interior quality in their flagship and highest dollar vehicle.

Batshit insane is right...and I love mine.

Wrong Ferrari, go back and find the last gated manual shifter....

These trucks represent the reason Dodge had 2% of the full size truck market. Dated didn’t even begin to describe it.

So, they're down to pickup trucks and Corvettes?

They're in full blow "cover our ass" mode at this point. Tiny little concerns or potential issues that other companies would ignore right now are being addressed with stop sale orders and recalls. It's not like their quality has suddenly plummeted or anything.

That reminds me, I have to call my dealership back as they just got the parts to fix my ignition. (2003 Saturn Ion) I want to wait and take a video of all the wacky stuff the car does first though. Like how my kid figured out you can pull the keys right out while the car is running. You should have seen his face.
