You’ve never heard on something being “miles better”, or “far and away better” than something else?

Damn, Chevy Beretta...that’s a candidate for Meh Car Monday. I hadn’t seen or thought of that model for decades.

Would you prefer they raise the ticket fee $100, then give you checked baggage and carry-ons for “free”?

What’s driving this is the cheapest fares get the most passengers.  And they figured out a way to cut $30-$100 off the ticket price and still make the same amount of profit, by making everything an additional cost.

Raisins are nature’s candy!  They’re the best, Jerry, the best!

“I’d either have a copy of the TSA regs printed out, or the relevant web page bookmarked on my phone. You can’t count on the guys at the checkpoint knowing the rules.”

In my experience, no official will be willing to even take a look at your copy of the regulations.

Gen Xer’s, who came a bit later than boomers. This could have been a first car for some of them.

Is scrapped (when you mean scraped) the new loose (when you mean lose)?

Raisin Bran....the raisins get rock hard after a couple of years, but other than that it’s fine.

A fleet-spec, appliance white shitbox of a van with a missing center row seat? This thing isn’t in good enough condition to command $5K. Crack Pipe.

This facility likely has a policy of no firearms permitted on the premises.
The cop was not there on official cop business.
The cop was asked to not bring his firearm into the building.
Cop refused to comply with the request, and entered the building with firearm, in (I presume) violation of the facility’s security

“Two-door sedans also said, “I’m single”

Not really. Back then, 4-doors were for senior citizens, or people with big kids (in their teens). There were no child car seats to fuss with in those days, and little kids could easily climb into the back and have plenty of room. I was in my mid-teens, with two older brothers,

Me too. Those cars weren’t very common, even back then.

He claims that’s mid-low for a bike in decent shape”
Unfortunately for him, this one’s not in decent shape, seeing how it needs an engine-out repair, has body damage, and who knows what else by now.  If it’s been sitting, it will likely have carburetor issues and need new tires as well.  Dual crack pipes for this one.

If AMC could have held on until the SUV craze hit, they’d have been golden. They had the Eagle 4x4, the Spirit SX4, the Comanche small pickup, and best of all the Jeep Cherokee (XJ) that would go on to have a nearly 20-year run with Chrysler.

Lodestart — a similar name has already been used:

There are a lot of military aircraft that share their names with car or truck models — Wildcat, Mustang, Eagle, Cutlass, Falcon, Spirit, Typhoon, Raptor, Spitfire, Mirage.

There are plenty of aircraft names that I don’t think have been used yet. Rafale, Tomcat, Foxbat, Tigershark, Griffen, Voodoo

Looks like a cross between a Smart Fortwo and a Hind Mi-24D helicopter

My dad was a truck guy, but he always had room for the kids:

Probably more like a cadenza

If the diff has been upgraded to handle the additional power, then it’s a NP. If not, CP.  The mods are worthless if you can’t use them due to the weak differential.
