Crack pipe. Besides the fact that it has hack job drag pipes and duct tape on the seat, this was a budget street bike when new, with budget street bike suspension that isn’t going to work well on unpaved roads. You could probably get a real 250cc dual-sport with actual off-road suspenders for the same money they’re…
“This thing is a good $5-6K cheaper than same year clean title STs”
The problem is, this isn’t an ST. It’s an salvage/rebuilt SE with a generous amount of ST bits tacked on. That doesn’t make it worth ST money, though.

“... THEIR South China Sea is analogous to OUR Gulf of Mexico”
More like the Carribean, and we’re not claiming that whole thing. China should play nice(r) with its neighbors.
We didn’t lose in Vietnam. There was not plan to “win”, just to keep the south from losing. We achieved that objective, and signed a peace agreement with North Vietnam. Which they reneged on a few years later. But the U.S. didn’t lose, they just ran out of give-a-damn.
“...you could easily implement a system that would only engage if no one’s touching the handle.”
They already have this on shopping carts outside of the U.S.

The Concord was an AMC model. The Concorde is a Chrysler.
I saw the price in the headline and thought I would vote crack pipe. But after seeing the condition I’m going with nice price, for the right buyer.
The chicken tax has been around since (*checks wikipedia*) Lyndon B. Johnson was president! Apparently nobody in Washington gives a flip about it.
“This is what I always thought. Chevy dealers sold Chevy trucks, and Buick-Olds-Pontiac delaers sold GMC trucks. Maybe that was only in Texas?”
Clean, 5-speed manual, RWD, and under $2K? Nice Price!
“Mr. Zip” or “Zippy”
I love old Pontiacs, but I just can’t get behind this. At that price it better be pristine. Additionally, I’d prefer a most stock Safari with maybe just a few minor tweaks. The GTO badging and other homage bits don’t add much value for me. I could see $15K for this, but not much more. Wide-Crack.

That’s the way I remember it. Those other guys were driving clapped out 3rd gen Camaros or fox body Mustangs. Or mini-trucks...remember those?
