When they are available, self-driving cars will be a good solution to this problem

-because China didn’t help them rebuild from the ashes of WW2.

“ The US can’t get clean water to its citizens, has a minimal rail system, and a crumbling road system.”

In the U.S. utilities and road maintenance is a state and/or municipal issue. The one high-profile water issue you are likely referring to is not a nationwide, or even a state-wide problem.

I smell coolant when I get out of the car after driving it and we have gotten a low coolant warning message, but when I take it to the dealer, they can’t find a leak.”

I had this issue with a car years ago.  It turned out to be a leaking head gasket, leaking internally into one of the cylinders, and the coolant smell

It’s your overall tax burden that matters, not how much of a refund you get. Tax is witheld from a single person’s paycheck at a higher rate than that of married folks, so you can’t just compare refunds.  File a W-4 with your employer to increase your witholding back to the single rate if you want a bigger refund next

no, but they reach nearly max torque at close to idle RPM, and the torque curve is flat nearly to the (admittedly low) redline.

I bought an ‘89 Cougar new and owned it for 17 years. The interior was quite good for the time, held up remarkably well, and was loads better than anything GM or Chrysler was putting out at the time. Mine still looked great inside and out when I sold it in 2006 with over 100k miles on it.

Sounds like they got the vista cruiser top from a scrapyard.  No telling what condition the T-bird was in, but it may  have been a shell,  thus the need for a new interior.

This would be cooler with the stock nose. And it’s also cool enough on its own without having to pimp it up with SS decals. I had the sedan version of this car back in the mid-90s, the interiors are pretty sad. If this thing was perfect inside and out it might be worth the asking, but as it sits?  Massive crack

Isn’t that a Yamaha Maxim X on the trailer?

I don’t like these anyway, but the price is too high for its age and that many miles

Don’t look at this as it is, look at what it could be:

Yes, the front end has exposed-spring shock absorbers, covered by sheet metal

For bikes this old, we’re not owners, we’re custodians. This one needs to go to a good home that will give it the love it deserves. It would take a lot of work and expense to make this one roadworthy (way more than a battery and carb rebuild), so I think $600 for this project, as it sits, would be a fair price.
