I know zero about boats. But I do know that you can get 310 HP out of 1.5L in a PWC from Kawasaki.

I had one of these as a rental once and it is unquestionably the worst car I’ve ever encountered, and I sold used American cars in the mid 00's (looking at you, Dodge Avenger). It was brand new, but it squeaked and rattled and was loud. For 15k though you’d be hard pressed to care about any of those faults.
Why am I not impressed by 450 hp from a 4.6 liter v8? You could make 2200 hp from 2 turbo LS’ that wouldn’t even be working that hard.
6.2L NA Detroit Diesel. No Dice! This thing will get 10 MPG going downhill with a brisk tailwind, and only then will it be able to achieve highway speeds.
The F&F franchise is successful because 99% of the people who go to watch it really don’t give a shit about car culture. The 1% that do still watch, but pout while doing so.
Well back then their value sank faster than the titanic so they were quite the bargain. Like many other Chrysler products of the era that was pretty much their only redeeming quality.
They did use a shitty car.
It is literally impossible for the cars in their current state to be good at wheel to wheel racing when they lose more than half of their downforce when following within a second of another car. A second is a lot. I agree that they should allow more mfgs to field tires.
Did you say that this will compete with a BMW, Mercedes, and a Range Rover? Because, I mean....it just wont. Not one single person on earth is cross shopping a GLS with a Jeep.
The tires are intentionally shit though. Yesterdays race is a perfect example of why. It would have been a snoozefest if not for the split strategy due to high tire deg. There just needs to be move variables and less downforce. If there’s a potential for 10 different strategies that could win, instead of one or two,…
NP. Anything that has 4 wheels, a steering wheel and an engine that works is worth 3500 in this market.
The only solution to fixing Yas is to destroy it and start over. Add some elevation change and camber. Overtaking at the end of a long straight with the aid of DRS is just as boring as not having any overtakes.
GTI is the correct answer. You might be able to get a gently used Golf R, they made those in fun colors a few years ago.
Don’t worry, they’ll find a way to steal all the water from those states to keep CA going before any of that will happen. As long as the grass is green and the water comes out of the faucet most people don’t have a clue.
Thankfully electricity in Arizona is stupid cheap.
Ah yes, I too love to drive down the road spewing copious amounts of oil on the ground. I’m sure the local motorcycle club will send you a thank you card in the mail.
As a Phoenician I echo the dangers. Pretty much any metal surface that you thought was sleek and cool when you bought your car is now superheated and trying to kill you. If you see people wearing pants when its 115* it’s probably because they have vinyl or leather seats.
7k is fair for one of these. They don’t really start taking big hits in price until they hit 300k miles. A 7k quarter million mile 4runner/tacoma of this generation is going to be far more reliable than basically anything else you can get for 7k regardless of the vintage.
I love sixt. They always bump me to a small Volvo SUV or Wagon.
Rory’s comment about the stance of these is spot on. The Chevy/GMC varients look weird, like someone forgot to remove the rear suspension shipping blocks. The “off road” trims are even worse. The Cadillac looks much better in that regard.
