It seems like most internet, um, journalists these days are incapable of writing anything without inserting some contrived social justice angle. It's like they all sprung from the same neurotic womb of some unseen force and are compelled to write passive aggressive hit pieces on the web.

I recently watched the entire first season in two nights. I have questions.

Why didn't Transcendence make the list? I tried to watch that the other night and couldn't make it past the first half hour. It was incredibly dull, but I think Depps's milquetoast role is an obvious entry here.

I snorted beer up my nose while laughing at this comment.

Pretty sure this was performance art on his part. Or at least a troll job. He's at that age where you just have to laugh and say "fuck it, who cares".

Never understood what these bands thought they would accomplish with "message" music. You can write a heartbreaking ballad about the horrors of war and the crimes of man, but nobody is going to hear it and think "this is about me". The target is always too broad and nebulous to inspire change. I'd say, if you want to

Thanks, that was interesting. "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" is one of the all time great tv episodes. I seem to remember the killer being somewhat goofy, if not affable. That ending too…this show was going dark places before it was hip to be "dark and gritty".

Not sure how reliable the source is, but it seems Carter is involved after all:

They could have the Lone Gunmen hanging around in spirit form.

Also, Mark Snow was an essential element of the show's atmosphere. I hope they decide to at least reuse those somber piano rolls if they can't get him to write new material.

One of the show's charms is how sexless it is. They never tried to make Mulder a "cool guy". From the beginning he was always a troubled, lonely dude living in a small apartment. Scully was frigid and pious, very rarely allowing herself to even smile. Together they formed this awkward partnership whose chemistry

I was a Lexx watcher. There are dozens of us.

Whatever happened to him? His episodes are classic but I heard he was difficult to work with.

Well it's been over a decade so I think we can give them the benefit of the doubt. A self-contained miniseries sounds like the right way to go about it. Though I thought the world was supposed to be colonized by aliens by 2012.

I watched X Files to the very end. Trust me, not being able to get Carter on board would be a blessing. I'll always watch no matter how bad it gets, but the show needs fresh talent.

I'd like to see a movie about Vince Neil's startling transformation into the world's most hideous plastic surgery disaster.

I Knew the Bride When She Was Rock N Roll

lol at that poster image

That's a really nice sweater.

It's called "Child's Play", not "Chucky".
