I don't even mean it in a derogatory way, but as long as we're talking about ethnic majorities and the sway they have over the industry…Ashkenazi Jews are the dominant force in Hollywood. This is a simple fact.

I find it amusing that these comments are crying about the "white man" dominating Hollywood. Anybody who knows anything about the industry knows the real movers and shakers aren't WASPs. Sure, they aren't black, but they ain't exactly white either.

Tom Cruise is a great actor, always has been.

Standard OMG NOT EVEN SCURRY NUTHIN HAPPENED type criticism. I just appreciated it for the unique lil low key horror-comedy it was.

Well that's enough to sell me.

He's playing Miss Jackson, hence the wig.

I always found it a weird category since the director usually ends up ignoring the script as written anyway. Screenplays are really just loose frameworks for the director to build on.

Can we get a newswire for the very first Nicolas Cage-in-a-bad-wig vehicle of the year, Outcast?

Your rebuttal has been recorded for posteriority.

I look forward to the smash Aerosmith soundtrack, including the surprise hit "I've Been Blind But Now I Ghazi"
