Humanities education in the past few years has been relegated to hysterical, traumatized hand wringing. The reason so many av club writers no longer strive to persuade and convince is because they are not educated to do so. They have been trained to write as activists and not citizens.

The memo puts forth an explanation for WHY more women aren't engineers. This AV Club piece willfully misrepresents his point saying it is "all the reasons women shouldn’t be engineers."
