Buy your tickets to whatever you can in advance - otherwise you may queue for hours. In Florence, the Uffizi and the Academia. In Rome, the Colesseum, the Forum, and especially the Vatican museum. Then you can generally skip the queues

I buy Tony Moly or Innisfree via Amazon. I like both, and they’re about £10-12 a set.

I’m not a Brit, but I do live in London! I love it here. I’m only still awake because I have an early start to catch a flight, and I get too nervous about oversleeping my alarm so I can never get to sleep. Ridiculous.

I have spent lots of time in Florence. It is wonderful for just wandering around, eating gelato constantly. Book your tickets to museums in advance, directly via their websites. And it’s not always ope, and you need to book tours in advance, but try to see the Vasari corridor. It’s well worth the cost.

I have a friend who I discussed the march with, and she has similar anxiety around crowds, but really loves protesting. So instead of marching, she finds a higher vantage point, slightly removed from the route, and stands with a banner and waves at people. It works for her :)
