Hunt for the Wilderpeople is such a gem. Happy birthday Ricky Baker!

We’re reading this for our True Crime bookclub; I am only halfway through, and am really appreciating the focus on what brought the women to where they were, and the lack of attention on the murders.

This is the first time I had heard litty titty and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for my new favourite saying

I think so, yes. The lines are all colour coded, and there are clear signs listing all the stops in each direction. I find the CityMapper app best for figuring out the fastest route by public transport. And for tourists, I think taking the bus is a great (and cheaper) option if you’re not rushing anywhere. Buy an Oyste

London is amazing, I moved here four years ago and haven't once regretted it! May is nice and hot, and for a tourist the impact of Brexit will be minimal. My favourite day trip from London is Oxford

You have amazing longevity for someone who went to high school in the 1840s :)

I got dumped yesterday, and it was the straw that broke the camels back: first bout of depression in three years, and just before Christmas. Humbug.

Are you in London? If so I could maybe pop around on Christmas Eve and boxing day and feed your cat. As a good karma Christmas exercise.

The attitude will likely be from those who had weddings showers haha. You do you, have a wedding shower, but we're allowed to nope nope nope on out of there and think it's tacky. Enjoy the wine!!

I’m with you. I’m so so glad that none of the many many weddings I’ve been to have involved a shower. Everyone I know cringes at the idea. (Disclaimer: I'm not from the US)

I had this exact same fear of the diving pool at our local pools! That a great white shark would come through the inlets and eat me. I would still practice diving but then would panic and swim like mad to get out. Every time.

Logged in just to star you for McTamyn. I snort laughed so hard.

I’m a terrible person but I’m still chuckling at their luck. Every couple of minutes “OH FOR FUCKS SAKE CANT THEY TURN OFF THE DAMN SLIDER”

Im sorry to take this down to a shallow and self involved level, but I had my first Starbucks in a year today; and as an Old, I was tickled that they misheard my name as Youth. (Just had to share)

You’re in the UK, yes? Whereabouts (if you don’t mind me asking?)

I’m with you. It seemed to me a hurtful and careless comment if you were from her family.

The fact that they are posing for a Daily Mail event is everything. Total dumpster fire of a newspaper.

I was the same as you, got my Youth Mobility visa and Camden over to the U.K. just after turning 30. Best decision I ever made, I love it here and London is an amazing city to live in. I’m now sponsored by work so have another 3 year visa, didn’t want to leave!

Yesssss. But it is not limited to online dating. Gys I’ve met IRL, through friends, all the same: they want to bone, no commitment.

Two things: A) That would be SO classy of you, and B) huge congratulations on doing it yourself. I am literally raising a glass of wine at my desk to you.
